The evening of 25th Nov 2022 at Richmond Club House near Supermart -2 was upercharged with musical extravaganza filled with ghazals spanning across more than 7 decades.
The Musical Show “रूह-ऐ-ग़ज़ल -ओ- नग़मात” waspresented by Nisha Gulati- great ghazal lover with Lilly Singh and a War Veteran, Col RC Chadha who is the Founder President of GCF (Global Cultural Foundation), a Group dedicated to the entertainment of Senior Citizens in their twilight years. The concept was given by Nisha Gulati well versed in organising & assisting in its execution. Nisha is known for giving a big push & momentum to various music events. She is always assisted by Mr Arun Puri and Suruchi.
The Musical Show “रूह-ऐ-ग़ज़ल -ओ- नग़मात” attractedmusic lovers of ghazal from allover the NCR. Jam packed hall with lovers of Ghazals told its story in no uncertain terms that Col RC Chadha & his team of dedicated singers have carved out a niche in the hearts of multitudes & given a sense of purpose to them for passing their time with dignity, joy & mirth.
Who does not know Kundan Lal Saigal, Mehdi Hassan, JagjitSingh, Talat Mehmood, Khayyam, Melody Queen Lata, Mubarak Begum, Mukesh, Naushad & Rafi Ji. These all are the iconic figures in the firmament of music.
The beauty & melody of this Musical Show “रूह-ऐ-ग़ज़ल -ओ- नग़मात” conducted by Ghazal LoversGroup lies in the fact that his team of singers dived into the great depths of
ocean of music & fetched out songs & Ghazals from the era of 1940s onwards.

( 1958 ) , Aditya Sharma sang HoshWalon ko khabar kya by Jagjit Singh from hit film Sarfrosh of Aamir Khan &Naseeruddin Shah , Vandana Bhalla Ji sang a very deep meaning conveying song “ kabhi kisi ko mukammal Jahan nahi Milta , Shiv Chaudhry : Wafa Jin se ke BewafaHo Gaye ; Rakesh Chhabra fetched out a gazal from Film Mulazim (1963 ) Dewaanakah ke aaj phir pukariye.
Meenu Malhotra ‘s from Film Umraojaan (1961) “Dil cheese kyahai aap Meru jaan lejiye and Mrs Barua dug out a gazal “Abhi to main Jawan Hoon “from Film Afsana (1951 ) in the voice of Lata Ji. A full bench of orchestra by Sh Arun Punjabi added depth& grace to the musical event.
The audience was so thoroughly engrossed into this event ofghazals that suddenly there was a request from a Veteran Colonel of age 90years to sing Kundan Lal Sangal’s piece “Ar Qatib e-Takdeer”. Col RC Chadha promptly consented & gave out a wonderful performance by singing out therequested item from Film “My Sister “(1944) Mrs Suman Gulati chairwoman & Director Blue Bells Groupof schools was the chief Guest and supported the event.
