Gurugram: It’s a matter of great relish for the senior ladies of ward no 23 of Gurgaon. Maharani Laxmibai Mahila Trust, Sector 10A, Gurugram, has arranged a free E-rickshaw facility for the elderly women of the sector to bring them from home to the community garden and drop them back at home.
In an event held at sector 10A on Tuesday 9th May the services was kicked off by BJP Gurugram Ladies Wing President Mrs. Gargi Kakkar.
Councillor of the area AshwiniSharma was also present at the event and he highly appreciated the move of the trust. “It will be a great relief for the senior ladies who are otherwise confined in the home due to age factor. They would get a chance to come to the park without the help of any family members. A walk into the garden will refresh their mind and body,” said Councillor Ashwini Sharma.
Chairperson of Maharani Laxmibai Mahila Trust, Mrs. Reena Yadav was also present at the event along with other trustees Mrs. Kiran Malhotra, Krishna Devi, Sudha Raghav, Santosh Kumari etc.
Present on the occasion were Mahila Morcha District Secretary Mrs. Sudha Raghav, Himani Raghav. Khirki Daula Mahila Mandal Morcha Mandal President Mrs. Usha Raghav, General Secretary Mahila Morcha Kavita Chauhan, Executive Member Sunita Yadav. Vice President Arjun Mandal BJP Mr. Manish Gadauli, Mandal President Mr. Ram Niwas Yadav, and General Secretary Mr. Suresh Raghav.
