Lilly Singh, of Ramneek Arts presented in her melodious voice tribute to the legendary Kokila Lata Mangeskar Ji at Arya Samaj Mandir Hall in DLF Phase 2 Gurugram on 28 September 2023. She was joined by Guest Singer Col R C Chadha.
The event started with lighting of lamp followed by felicitation of Lilly Singh and Col RC Chadha with shawls and Lilly’s devotional rendering of “Satyam Shivam Sundaram” of same name movie.
Each song of Lilly Singh enthralled the audiences with a wide range of melodious Bollywood songs of Lata Mangeshkar. She captivated one and all with her each rendition of song.
The dynamic duo of Col. RC Chadha and Lilly Singh charmed the audience with their renditions of ‘Ramaya Basta Baya’ towards the end. Audiences came infornt of the stage and danced to the tune of the singers.
The anchor of the show, Pushpa Soni, kept the audience captivated with her sharp story-telling style of anchoring with humor, pun and quotes of poems.
She also synopsised interesting facts behind each song ofLata ji in an apt manner presented there. The engaging event lasted almost 2 hours and was well-received by all.
“It was a wonderful experience. All the songs of Lataji hasbeen presented with superb expertise by Lilly Ji. Selection was superb. I enjoyed every moment here. I would love to come again,” said Suruchi Chona from
DLF-IV .

The 7-member Orchestra team was from Music Designers of Delhiand they expressed their gratitude to Lilly Singh and Col RC Chadha for giving them a platform of exposure from last one decade.
