Gurugram. A grand Rath Yatra of Lord Jagannath, Balabhadra and Subhadra will be taken out on 7th July by ISKCON (International Krishna Consciousness Association) Temple Sector-45. Many types of religious, social and devotional programs will be held in the Rath Yatra. In this Yatra, Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini, All India Anti-Terrorism Front President MS Bitta will be the chief guests. This information was given by ISKCON Temple Sector-45 President Achyuta Hari Das in a press conference on Friday.
He said that Jagannath's huge chariot decorated with flowers,leaves and ribbons, Lord Jagannath, Balabhadra and Subhadra will be brought to ISKCON temple Sector-45 in the morning. After this, there will be kirtan and Chhappan Bhog will be offered. The yatra will start with the offering of a huge cake at 2 pm. The yatra will pass through Sector-40 market, Sector-31 market and finally reach Sector-15 Company Bagh ground amid the chanting of Hare Krishna Mahamantra. After this, there will be a grand cultural function. The yatra will depart from here, which will reach Company Bagh via Sadar Bazaar,
Siddheshwar Chowk, Sohna Chowk.
One of leading devotees of ISKCON sector 45 , Daya Gauranga Das informs that devotees from different countries of the world like Russia, England, America, Bosnia, Argentina, Mexico, Australia, South Africa and other parts of Asia are expected to participate in the Rath Yatra. Some devotees from Vrindavan have come to Gurugram and New Delhi ISKCON temple to participate in the Rath Yatra. Most of them were very excited about the Rath Yatra.
Senior devotee Sarvabhoma Das said that in 1968, ISKCON founder Acharya Prabhupada took out the first Rath Yatra of Lord Jagannath, Balabhadra and Subhadra in San Francisco, USA. Today the chariot procession of Lord Jagannath in different countries of the world every year makes people aware of the rich Vedic cultural heritage of India."
