Renowned Bhajan Singer Babita Sharma performed hermesmerizing Bhajans for the Widow Mothers of Radhakund Vrindavan on the Eve of New Year. She also sponsored their launch and donate 250 Shawls to the widow mothers supported by Hiranmoyee India Foundation.
“I feel blest to perform at Radhakund Vrindavan for thepleasure of the widow mothers. On New Year’s Eve, everyone is busy enjoying their time with their friends and relatives. So, I came here to spend my time with these abandoned widow mothers, support them, spend quality time with themand get the blessing of these mothers,” said Babita Sharma.
Babita Sharma and her team were welcomed by traditionalAssamese Gamocha by Pranab Saikia, Founder of Hiranmoyee India Foundation on her arrival at Radha Kund. She also visited Radha Kund with her team members.
“I feel very sad looking at the pathetic condition of thesewidow mothers. They need care and attention from the people mainstream of the country. But I appreciate the work of Hiranmoyee India Foundation, they are doing superb work,” added Sharma.
All the widow mothers were very happy, and they blessedBabita Sharma and wished her a Happy New Year. Babita Sharma and all the team members of her crew had lunch with these widow mothers together and distributed 250 Shawls as a Gift of the New Year.
“We are very thankful to Babita Sharma, She has been helpingthe Widow mothers of Radha Kund through Hiranmoyee India Foundation for the last several years. Hiranmoyee India Foundation is a non-profit, non-government registered NGO having a Pan Card, 80G, and 12 A Certificates and a bank account. The NGO was established in the year 2018 with a noble vision to look after the poorest of the poor living in far-off areas of different parts of India Presently, the NGO has been focusing on improving the living conditions
of the widow mothers of Vrindavan, especially those living in Radha Kund areas in Goverdhan,” said Pranab Saikia, Founder of Hiranmoyee India Foundation.
“We are providing these widow mothers with free food. In ourAnnapurna Kitchen located at Radha Kund, we are feeding widow mothers free of lunch. They have to live on begging and suffering from malnutrition. Most of them live in unhygienic conditions in the backyard of any temple, near their gosala or in rented dingy rooms of local residents—brajbasi,” added Saikia.
