25 October Faridabad: In recognition to his service to the down trodden section ofthe society, renowned social activist Dr Motilal Gupta has been honored with the Pride of Rotary by MLA Narendra Gupta, Rotary Club 3011 Governor Jitendra Gupta, First Lady Deepti Singh Gupta in a solemn function held in Faridabad.
From last two decade, Shirdi Sai Baba Temple Society has been providing free education along with health services, sanitary napkin distribution, mass marriage, vocational training etc. services to the society
for the upliftment of the helpless. The organization has just administered the first dose of cervical cancer to 518 girls aged between 9 to 20 years. The second dose will be given after 6 months. In view of the services of the organization, in the wing program organized by Rotary Club 3011, social worker Dr. Motilal Gupta was honoured.
On 22nd October, 1000 school girls were given bicycles in the Pankh program organized by Rotary 3011. Chief guest of the program, MLA Narendra Gupta said in his statement that the bicycle gift given by Rotary to these girls on the day of Kanya Puja will really give new wings to these girls.
Principal Binu Sharma thanked Rotary 3011. In her speech she said, “I appreciate this initiative of Rotary. This gift will make the lives of these girls easier.” She also thanked Virender Mehta, President of Rotary Club Faridabad NIT and said that it is only due to your tireless efforts that the great yagya named Pankh has been completed.
