On June 21,the Shalom Group of Schools embraced International Yoga Day with a vibrant session themed "Yoga for Women Empowerment" at the Shalom Presidency.
From 6-8 am, a lively gathering of parents, students, and staff came together with immense zeal to practice various yoga postures, including Surya Namaskara, breathing exercises, and meditation.
The eventwas not just about yoga; it also promoted a healthy lifestyle. Participants were encouraged to drink 10 glasses of water daily, sleep for 8 hours, and choose raw fruits and vegetables over oily foods.
The morningwas a resounding success, highlighting the Shalom community's dedication to wellness and empowerment.
