Residents of M3M Golf Estate Gurgaon took out the Ratha Yatra of Lord Jagannath, Balbhadra and Subhadra with fervour on 13th July 2024 where more than 600 people participated in the event.
"This is the first Ratha Yatra in our condominium and residents have been preparing to welcome Jagannath, Balbhadra and Subhadra in a grand manner by offering 150 bhoga . Residents of M3M Golf estate are spiritually inclined and they wholeheartedly welcomed Jagannath Ji attending entire program with families” says Jeetu Bairathi, one of the leading persons of the organizing committee of Ratha Yatra.
“All the preventive measures of safety and security were being taken so that the event happens hassle-free. For that we are very thankful to M3M management and all the residents of M3M Golf Estate. We also invite all the residents of M3M Golf estate to visit our Badshahpur temple and have darshan and get blessings of Radha Damodar ji,” says Rambhadra Das, President of Badshahpur ISKCON Temple.
Children also presented a colourful cultural extravaganza that mesmerised the audience. 12-year-old Advika Aggarwal’s melodious bhajan- Achyutam Keshavam was one of the interesting presentations. Other children who actively participated in the event were nine years Nimai, who recited the Jagannath Pranam mantra, nine years Ishanavi told the story of Jagannath, eight years Radhika explained
the skit about Jagannath’s Ratha Yatra, 17 years Radhika Keshari did ecstatic Kirtan, four and five years Linay and Ayansh did Krsna Ramp, 16 years Shreeya sung Radha Krsna song, and Krishnav Madhav and Neelmadhav Mishra recited Shlokas.
“The most important thing about the Ratha Yatra is that here people of all ages joined with great enthusiasm. We were expecting 300 people but more than 600 residents joined in the event. We are looking forward to celebrate such an event in future,” says Kapil Singhal, another member of the Ratha Yatra Committee.
“Events like Jagannath Ratha Yatra not only renews our spiritual connection but also develop the spirit of fellow feeling and brotherhood,” says Sonia Chug, a resident of M3M Golf Estate.
The Ratha yatra of Lord Jagannath owes its origin to Puri in Orissa. “In Brahmanda Puran it says that even whoever sees the Ratha of Lord Jagannath all the sins are wiped out and they get spiritual bliss and Jagannath also his good desires,” says Nitin Arora, a senior devotee of the Rath Yatra Committee.
“ This is my first Jagannath Ratha Yatra in life. In the entrie route there is disciplie, people are in serving mood of sewa and joy. I enjoyed every moment here,” says Samita Mathur, a resident of M3M Golf Estate.

Jagannath’s Ratha keeps on rolling annually in every country of the world conveying to people the rich Vedic Culture of India. Now we residents of M3M Golf Estate have also become part of this great mission of Srila Prabhupad '' says Garima Jolly.
