Singing Sensation Radhika Keshari Made World Record -Youngest Professional Indo Western Music Performer

15 year old Radhika Keshari, a staunch follower of Hare Krishna ISKCON Gurugram never thought in her wildest dream that she would create world record. Sher attempted for the title, World's Youngest Professional Indo-Western musician in the Golden Book of World records.

Her piano teacher, Dr Aman Bathla- who is world's fastest pianist and holder of 52 world records, inspired her for this attempt. She is also recipient of prestigious scholarship from the Lakshya program of the M3M Foundation. Inspired by ideals of Bhagawat Gita that teaches at ISKCON Gurugram centre Radhika does Mantra Mediation everyday and read Bhagwat Gita religiously.  

In a prestigious function held at Apparel House sector 44 Radhika performed her musical performance blessed by HG Rambhadra Das, President of ISKCON Gurugram, Sector 67 in this attempt. She wonderfully sang the Dshavatar Strotram by Srila Jayadeva Goswami in ten different thaats of Indian classical music. The ten slokas were sung in Indian classical vocal style with piano and other western and Indian instruments; thus making a fusion of both styles. Moreover, she can sing both Indian and western classical vocals.  

 Radhika is nurtured amidst Vedic atmosphere of ISKCON from her birth. Both her parents are totally involved in bhakti movement of Iskcon. Her day starts in the wee hours of day-Brahma-muhurt by Mangal Arti to the Divine Couple Radha Krishna followed by Mantra Meditation and Guru Vandana. Prior to her breakfast she finishes riyaz (practise) of music classes.

Her mentor Dr AmanBathla says, “I know Radhika from 2019, she works hard, disciplined and very
sincere in her work. She is itself a message to the young generation child who are always in pursuit materials things. She is quite sober and spiritual in upbringing along with a taste of good things of life. I wish her all the best.”
