Recently a Science Exhibition was held at Shalom Presidency School Gurugram where students showed their awe-inspiring creativity, problem-solving brilliance and deep appreciation for the planet's oceans.
Under the visionary guidance of Founder Chairperson, Dr.Lilly George, Grade 7 students truly amazed all with their imaginative solutions. They dived deep into the central theme of 'THE DEEP BLUE - A Healthy
Ocean Means a Healthy Planet,' aligning with the Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 14: Life Under Water.
“This exhibition wasn't just about science, it was a uniquefusion of art, design, and science that captivated our young visitors. They embarked on a fascinating Sound Safari acoustic exploration, where the ocean's
enchanting symphony echoed through the halls. They were able to listen to mesmerizing hydroponic recordings of magnificent cetaceans, bringing the underwater world to life!” said a spokesperson of the school.
From interactive panels to creative stations, visitors hadthe chance to explore the wonders of the ocean and marine life from multiple perspectives. They discovered the intricacies of climatology, species and
habitats, nutrition, culture, environmental conservation, and the challenges faced by aquatic life.
Students' ingenious ideas, remarkable prototypes, and incredible team work made the event successful. They embraced the power of design thinking, “A heartfelt thank you to all the parents who joined us onthis exciting journey. You stepped into a world of boundless ideas and witnessed first-hand the magic that unfolds when young minds unleash their creativity. Together, we celebrated the limitless potential of our students,” added same spokesperson of the school.
